The Band
We’re excited to welcome The Great Romance as our Gathering band this year! The name “The Great Romance” stems from what the band sees as their goal in leading others into worship. They want people to experience an intimate relationship with God, which is better than any other experience in life— even better than the most passionate, romantic relationship imaginable! The Great Romance has opened for many of today’s top Christian artists including Audio Adrenaline, By The Tree, Big Daddy Weave, Tait, Kutless and many others. Within the last year, they’ve played most of the larger festivals in the Midwest. They are also receiving radio play in the area of their hometown Belleville, Illinois (near St Louis). Their new worship album “Creator” is available on iTunes so we encourage you and your youth to check them out there and on Facebook and MySpace, too! We’re excited to welcome Matt Vollmar (vocals/guitar), Andy Schneider (bass), Matt Stephens (Guitar/Piano/Vocals), and Brian McBride (Drums) to our great state for the very first time!!
